This is a mixed media collage with acrylic paint on unstretched canvas. It is multi-layered using several approaches. This girl or woman (however you see her or could be both, the woman and the inner child) represents the freedom we can have in Christ despite our circumstances. Often time, the transformation happens inside us first before we see it manifest in our life circumstances. If we can understand this and get a revelation of the true freedom we have when we belong to Christ and the great depth of God's love for us, than we can began to really feel like a new creature, set free not only from sin, but the afflictions that beset us. We can began to walk forward into this new freedom, and as we do the shackles will keep falling off-first inwardly, than outwardly. I think most of the time it is a process we walk out. This picture reflects the joy of the revelation, knowing that God's plans are good, and that good things are going to happen if I keep following him. In a matter of time, God will deliver me from my problems and allow me to experience some of my dreams. Just Him touching me with this revelation, showing me glimpses of the future, showing me what exactly to do to walk it out, his gentle reminders to help me be patient, and his unending grace and love are enough for me to rejoice. Our seasons of travail are only for a moment, and if you don't lose your faith or your ability to hear God during those times, you'll eventually enter into the destiny God has prepared for you, fully able and ready to participate in it. In fact, it was during the difficult times that God was training you, maturing you, seasoning you, and gifting you. Don't ever doubt for a moment His great love. He works all things together for the good (Romans 8:28.)

The original has a sheen to it as it was coated with modge podge. Also, the dress has sparkles on it from glittery clear fabric paint. These didn't show up on camera. I tried to get this picture to represent the closest I could to the actual color, but the original does look even better. The original is $85 unmatted and unframed.
